Everyone Was Warned Not To Touch Him, But This Guy Did

Man picks this cat up off the ground and tries to carry him home. Then something heartbreaking happens....

Words of Motivation

There may be days when you get up in the morning and things aren't the way you had hoped they would be.

That’s when you have to tell yourself that things will get better. There are times when people disappoint you and let you down.

But those are the times when you must remind yourself to trust your own judgments and opinions, to keep your life focused on believing in yourself.

There will be challenges to face and changes to make in your life, and it is up to you to accept them.

Constantly keep yourself headed in the right direction for you. It may not be easy at times, but in those times of struggle you will find a stronger sense of who you are.

So when the days come that are filled with frustration and unexpected responsibilities, remember to believe in yourself and all you want your life to be.

Because the challenges and changes will only help you to find the goals that you know are meant to come true for you.

Keep Believing in Yourself!

10 Apps That Support Charity

Google launched a app that makes discovering and supporting charity fun and easy. The One Today app highlights a new charity every day and gives its users the choice to support that charity by making a $1 donation.
With social sharing, and charities tailored to your preferences, Google may be changing the way we support charity. The One Today app is only available through a limited pilot release though, so you'll have to wait to download it. Check out these 10 apps that support charity as you wait for the full launch of Google's One Today app.

1. Budge
Budge is a great way to spice up any friendly challenge. With the Budge app, you can create a challenge with your friends or family, and the loser has to pay an agreed upon donation. This can be a fun motivation tool when training for a sporting event, losing weight or keeping on top of your most recent goals.
2. Charity Miles
This free app allows you to earn donations as you sweat. Track your exercise miles with the Charity Miles app and earn 10¢ per mile for bikers or 25¢ per mile for walkers and runners for your charity of choice.
3. VolunteerMatch
Tapping the most popular volunteer network online, the VolunteerMatch app lets you search volunteer opportunities by your location, learn about what is involved and share with your network. So, the next time you are sitting around wondering what to do on Saturday, open the VolunteerMatch app and decide where to donate your time.
4. My Life as a Refugee (UNHCR)
In the time it takes to download this app, 8 people around the world will become refugees as they flee from conflict or persecution. The My Life as a Refugee app provides insight into the experiences these refugees face. The Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) created this app to spread awareness about the projects and people they work to support.
5. Donate A Photo
Johnson & Johnson wants to reward you for sharing your photos on their network. Simply share any photo you like on the Donate a Photo app, and you will be rewarded with a $1 donation to the charity you select. Featured charitable projects include community development, humanitarian efforts and children empowerment causes. Now you have an excuse for all those "selfies" you are storing in your phone.
6. Check-in for Good
Check-in for Good lets businesses offer a $1 donation for every customer that comes in and uses the app to "check-in" using the GPS location of your smartphone. This app could become a great way to discover new restaurants, stores or other business.
7. Instead
The Instead app suggests small changes to your daily routine. Changes like brewing your own coffee instead of buying it or renting movies instead of going to the theater create savings that can be donated to projects from charities like Dignitas and Water is Basic. If you're ready for a small change, download this app instead of that new puzzle game.
8. Save the Children Earthquake Response
Save The Children created the Earthquake Response app to give players a glimpse into the experience of disaster response. The app is a clever way to raise awareness about the situations that Save the Children responds to and supports around the world. It's hard to imagine disaster relief education being playful, but no challenge is too daunting for the ingenuity of Save the Children and their innovative campaigns.
9. JustGive
The JustGive app is possibly the easiest online app for making traditional donations. Just browse or search listed charities and make a donation quickly and easily.
10. DonorReminder
Did you know that every 2 seconds, someone in the US needs a blood donation? We can't open up our wallets or turn on our phones to provide the 44,000 blood donations that are needed every day, but with the DonorReminder App, you can track your blood donations to stay on top of your commitment and keep track of when it is time to donate again.

Dying Man’s Final Wish to be Reunited With Dog

Yurt (The dog) used to live with a homeless Cedar Rapids man, 57-year-old Kevin McClain, in his car. But a month ago he became ill with lung cancer.
Paramedics rushed him to Mercy Medical Center and later to Hospice House. Yurt went to the animal shelter.
A community came together to grant his last wish. That dying wish was to see his dog one more time. It was a simple request, but one that meant the world to him in his final days.
People involved with the man’s last wish describe it as something they’ll never forget. Now that he’s gone, they’ll always cherish the memories of the man and his best friend.

SHORT MORAL STORIES

Once, all villagers decided to
pray for rain, on the day of
prayer all the People gathered
but only one boy came with an
umbrella...
THAT'S FAITH

When you throw a baby in the
air, she laughs because she
knows you will catch her...
THAT'S TRUST

Every night we go to bed,
without any assurance of being
alive the next Morning but still
we set the alarms in our watch
to wake up...
THAT'S HOPE

We plan big things for
tomorrow in spite of zero
knowledge of the future or
having any certainty of
uncertainties...
THAT'S CONFIDENCE

We see the world suffering. We
know there is every possibility
of the same or similar things
happening to us. But still we get
married...
THAT'S OVER CONFIDENCE !!!

God's Wife-Inspirational Story

An eye witness account from New York City , on a cold day in December, some years ago: A little boy, about 10-years-old, was standing before a shoe store on the roadway, barefooted, peering through the window, and shivering with cold। A lady approached the young boy and said, 'My, but you're in such deep thought staring in that window!''I was asking God to give me a pair of shoes,'was the boy's replyThe lady took him by the hand, went into the store, and asked the clerk to get half a dozen pairs of socks for the boy. She then asked if he could give her a basin of water and a towel. He quickly brought them to her. She took the little fellow to the back part of the store and, removing her gloves, knelt down, washed his little feet, and dried them with the towel.By this time, the clerk had returned with the socks. Placing a pair upon the boy's feet, she purchased him a pair of shoes.

She tied up the remaining pairs of socks and gave them to him. She patted him on the head and said, 'No doubt, you will be more comfortable now.' As she turned to go, the astonished kid caught her by the hand, and looking up into her face, with tears in his eyes, asked her . 'Are you God's wife?'

Be In a Good Mood-An Inspirational Story

Jerry is the manager of a restaurant in America. He is always in a good mood and always has something positive to say. When someone would ask him how he was doing, he would always reply, "If I were any better, I would be twins!" Many of the waiters at his restaurant quit their jobs when he changed jobs, so they could follow him around from restaurant to restaurant. The reason the waiters followed Jerry was because of his attitude. He was a natural motivator. If an employee was having a bad day, Jerry was always there, telling the employee how to look on the positive side of the situation.

Seeing this style really made me curious, so one day I went up to Jerry and asked him, "I don't get it! No one can be a positive person all of the time. How do you do it?" Jerry replied, "Each morning I wake up and say to myself, I have two choices today. I can choose to be in a good mood or I can choose to be in a bad mood. I always choose to be in a good mood. Each time something bad happens, I can choose to be a victim or I can choose to learn from it. I always choose to learn from it. Every time someone comes to me complaining, I can choose to accept their complaining or I can point out the positive side of life. I always choose the positive side of life."

"But it's not always that easy," I protested. "Yes, it is," Jerry said "Life is all about choices. When you cut away all the junk, every situation is a choice. You choose how you react to situations. You choose how people will affect your mood. You choose to be in a good mood or bad mood. It's your choice how you live your life."

Several years later, I heard that Jerry accidentally did something you are never supposed to do in the restaurant business: left the back door of his restaurant open one morning and was robbed by three armed men. While trying to open the safe, his hand, shaking from nervousness slipped off The combination. The robbers panicked and shot him.

Luckily, Jerry was found quickly and rushed to the hospital. After 18 hours of surgery and weeks of intensive care, Jerry was released from the hospital with fragments of the bullets still in his body. I saw Jerry about six months after the accident. When I asked him how he was, he replied, "If I were any better, I'd be twins. Want to see my scars?" I declined to see his wounds, but did ask him what had gone through his mind as the robbery took place.

"The first thing that went through my mind was that I should have locked the back door," Jerry replied. "Then, after they shot me, as I lay on the floor, I remembered that I had two choices: I could choose to live or choose to die. I chose to live."

"Weren't you scared?" I asked. Jerry continued, "The paramedics were great. They kept telling me. I was going to be fine. But when they wheeled me into the Emergency Room and I saw the expressions on the faces of the doctors and nurses, I got really scared. In their eyes, I read 'He's a dead man.' I knew I need to take action."

"What did you do?" I asked. "Well, there was a big nurse shouting questions at me," said Jerry. "She asked if I was allergic to anything." 'Yes,' I replied. The doctors and nurses stopped working as they waited for my reply. I took a deep breath and yelled, 'Bullets!' Over their laughter, I told them, 'I am choosing to live. Please operate on me as if I am alive, not dead'."Jerry lived thanks to the skill of his doctors, but also because of his amazing attitude.

I learned from him that every day you have the choice to either enjoy your life or to hate it. The only thing that is truly yours that no one can control or take from you - is your attitude, so if you can take care of that, everything else in life becomes much easier.

Perfect Person- A Motivational Story

A man and his girlfriend were married. It was a large celebration. All of their friends and family came to see the lovely ceremony and to partake of the festivities and celebrations. A wonderful time was had by all.

The bride was gorgeous in her white wedding gown and the groom was very dashing in his black tuxedo. Everyone could tell that the love they had for each other was true. A few months later, the wife comes to the husband with a proposal: "I read in a magazine, a while ago, about how we can strengthen our marriage." she offered ."Each of us will write a list of the things that we find a bit annoying with the other person. Then, we can talk about how we can fix them together and make our lives happier together."
The husband agreed, so each of them went to a separate room in the house and thought of the things that annoyed them about the other. They thought about this question for the rest of the day and wrote down what they came up with.
The next morning, at the breakfast table, they decided that they would go over their lists. "I'll start," offered the wife. She took out her list. It had many items on it enough to fill 3 pages, in fact. As she started reading the list of the little annoyances, she noticed that tears were starting to appear in her husbands eyes. "What's wrong?" she asked. "Nothing" the husband replied, "keep reading your lists." The wife continued to read until she had read all three pages to her husband. She neatly placed her list on the table and folded her hands over top of it.

"Now, you read your list and then we'll talk about the things on both of our lists." She said happily.

Quietly the husband stated, "I don't have anything on my list. I think that you are perfect the way that you are. I don't want you to change anything for me. You are lovely and wonderful and I wouldn't want to try and change anything about you."
The wife, touched by his honesty and the depth of his love for her and his acceptance of her, turned her head and wep t.
In life, there are enough times when we are disappointed, depressed and annoyed. We don't really have to go looking for them.
We have a wonderful world that is full of beauty, light and promise.
Why waste time in this world looking for the bad, disappointing or annoying when we can look around us, and see the wondrous things before us?

I believe that WE ARE HAPPIEST WHEN we see and praise the good and try our best to forget the bad. Nobody's perfect but we can find perfectness in them to change the way we see them .

A Wise Old Monkey

A king used to maintain a group of monkeys for providing entertainment for his sons. The monkeys were very nicely fed with sumptuous delicacies everyday. The leader of the monkeys was well-versed in the scriptures of like wise personalities and he used to teach the other monkeys these scriptures. There was also a pack of sheep in the king's palace and the little princes used to ride them for fun. One of those sheep was very fond of eating anything from the palace kitchen. The cooks in the kitchen had to beat the sheep quite often to prevent it from causing mischief.

The monkey leader thought that this kind of behaviour every now and then may result in something disastrous for the monkeys in the long run. "The sheep are extremely gluttonous and the cooks, on the other hand, are very adept in beating the sheep with whatever they find at hand. In case the cooks at any time start hitting the sheep with a burning stick from the fire, then the furry body of the sheep would surely start burning. When such a burning sheep starts running around in frenzy and by chance enters into the nearby horse stable, then the hay inside will catch on fire and the entire stable along with its horses will be ablaze in no time. One ancient animal husbandry book prescribes that burns on horse flesh can be healed by animal skin obtained from monkeys. Accordingly, the king will have the monkeys killed."

Apprehending thus, the wise old monkey leader called on all the monkeys confidentially and told them, "In a place like this where the sheep and the cooks are in constant confrontation, we, the monkeys, are sure to meet with our destruction. So, let us take refuge in a forest somewhere before we are destroyed en masses."

But the arrogant young monkeys did not have any respect for the wise old monkey's advice. They simply ridiculed the old monkey, saying, "You must be under some sort of delusion due to your advancing age, and so you are talking like a lunatic. We are not interested in leaving the palace for forest life only to live on distasteful fruits; here we are being fed with nectarine varieties of foodstuffs by the princes themselves."

Upon hearing the puffed-up monkeys retorting like this, the old monkey told them with tearful eyes, "O fools, you do not know the results of such pleasure. Don't you know this will be ultimately destructive for you! So let me leave for the forest alone - I don't want to see your deaths."

Saying thus, the monkey-leader started for the forest, leaving behind all the other monkeys.Following this, one day that greedy sheep entered into the kitchen. The cook struck the beast with burning firewood. Immediately the sheep started crying and ran straight into the nearby horse stable. As the sheep, with the fire all over its body, started rolling desperately over the hay-stack kept in the stable, the entire pavilion caught fire and many of the horses were burnt to death while the others just ran amok, resulting in a great consternation all over.

The king immediately summoned his veterinary surgeon for the treatment of the horses. The surgeon quoted Salihotra's prescription that monkey's tallow was essential for the quick healing of the burns suffered by the horses. So the king ordered that treatment should immediately be undertaken to save the horses, and accordingly he also issued his instructions to kill the monkeys to collect their tallow. The monkey leader got the news and was very much depressed.

Those who contemplate that the ageing adviser might be under delusion and may not know more than a common person knows, and instead of following him follow evil companions, will certainly meet with a disastrous end.

The Four Wives – An Inspiring Old Tibetan Story

Here is a very old and inspiring Tibetan story:

Long, long ago when the world was young and the tiger walked with the deer, there was a rich king who had four wives. The king loved his fourth wife the most and adorned her with riches. He also loved his third wife and was always showing her off to neighbouring kingdoms. However, he always feared that she would leave him. His second wife was kind and considerate and his trusted confidante and advisor in difficult times. Wife number one was devoted and loyal and although she loved him deeply, he was not as interested and tended to ignore her.

One day, the king fell ill and the truth dawned that his life was soon to end. He thought of the luxurious life he had led and feared being alone when he died.

He asked his fourth wife, “I have loved you the most, endowed you with the finest clothing, showered gifts upon you and taken great care over you. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company?” “No way!” she replied and walked away without another word.

The sad king then asked the third wife, “I have loved you all my life. Now that I’m dying, will you follow me and keep me company? ” “No!” she replied. “Life is too good! When you die, I’m going to remarry!”

He then asked the second wife, “I have always turned to you for help and you’ve always been there for me. When I die, will you follow me and keep me company?” “I’m sorry, I can’t help you out this time!” she replied. “At the very most, I can help with your funeral.”

Then a voice called out to the king in his sadness: “I’ll leave with you and follow you no matter where you go.” The king looked up and there was his first wife. She was so skinny and undernourished. Greatly grieved, the king said, “I should have taken much better care of you when I had the chance!”

In truth, we all have four wives in our lives. Our fourth wife is our body. No matter how much time and effort we lavish in making it look good, it’ll leave us when we die. It’ll be burnt, buried or chopped up for the vultures and wolves or feed the worms.

Our third wife is our possessions, status and wealth. When we die, it will all go to others. It will be divided up.

Our second wife is our family and friends. No matter how much they have supported and loved us, the furthest they can stay by us is up to the burial site. Even if they enter the portal of Death they and we must walk alone into the Bardo Thodol.

Our first wife is our mind stream, often neglected in pursuit of wealth, power and pleasures of the ego. However, our mind stream is the only thing that will follow us wherever we go.

The moral: Care for your body and keep it healthy so you can live life to its fullest. Enjoy your possessions, the pleasure and the comfort they provide. Cherish your friends and family and the love they provide. Don’t forget to nourish your mind stream as it is the source of all your life and will prove to be your most faithful friend.

The Monk and The Baby

Once there was a monk who lived in a village. One day a young village girl became pregnant and was unmarried. She did not want to expose her boyfriend. Out of fear when her parents asked her who is responsible, she pointed her finger to that monk.
Her parents were infuriated. The next day, the whole village turned up to blame the him. "How could you?" "You dirty old man!" "You are a disgrace!" "Get out of our village, you hypocrite!" Some villagers even threaten the his life.

After listening to all the accusations, what he said was "Is that so?" and went back to meditate. Months went by; the young girl gave birth to a baby. The parents of the young girl were forced to find a father for the child. The parents and the villagers went up to approach him saying "You are responsible for this baby; therefore you should bring up the baby!" Once again, he said "Is that so?" He took the young baby in his arms and went back.

By this time the he has lost his reputation but it did not trouble him. He took very good care for this baby and he manages to obtain milk and everything the child needed from his neighbors.

After a year, he young girl felt ashamed and guilty and wanted to see her baby. She finally told the real story to her parents. When all the villagers came to know the truth, they all felt ashamed of having wrong him. So all of them gathered and went to the monk asking for forgiveness. Once again, after listening to them said "Is that so?" He handed the baby back to the young girl.

When you are right, one thousand angels swearing that you are wrong does not matter. But when you are wrong, ten thousand angels swearing that you are right will not make any difference.

The Dalai Lama Answers a Question

This is the most amazing story you will read today

Shared on Quora by Gaurav Langwan.
A tea vendor in Lucknow, Aiku Lal Sandil finds a Muslim boy abandoned at a garden near his tea stall. When asked about his whereabouts the boy only remembers his name as Akbar. Aiku reports to the police but they are unable to trace the boy's parents as there was no complaint registered of a missing three year old boy, in any of the police stations all over the state.
After loosing hope, the police advise Aiku to shift the boy to an orphanage. Aiku refuses and brings up the boy as his own. Aiku has meagre income but, ensures the boy gets proper education and also retains Akbar's religion by taking him to a Muslim clerk and making the child read the Quran and offer Namaz daily. Soon a lovely relationship blossoms between a Hindu man and a Muslim boy and they both form a family of their own.
But their world turns upside down when the boy's biological parents turn up and seek the custody of the boy, but the boy refuses saying Aiku is his father-mother and wants to stay with him. Then boy's biological parents go to court to claim Akbar's custody. Later, the court pronounces judgement in favour of Aiku and acknowledges Aiku's upbringing of the boy by retaining his religion and providing education.
During the court proceedings, Aiku throws light over his own life by stating the following that melted the hearts of everyone present in the court and whoever got to know about the incident.
“I am a Hindu, brought up by a kind Muslim man. When I found Akbar, it was like God telling me that it is time to return the love and care I got from His people. I was never forced to change my religion and, having got that education from my guardian, it was my duty to take care of the child and bring him up as per his own religion,”
Amidst all religious differences raised by ourselves and self centered politicians, 'Humanity' is still prevalent in one form or the other.

Motivational Story About Achieving Dreams

Two grains were lying side by side on the fertile soil. The first grain said: "I want to grow up ! I want to put down roots deep into the ground and sprout from the ground. I dream to blossom in delicate buds and proclaim the coming of spring. I want to feel the warm rays of sun and the dew drops on my petals !".

This grain grew up and became a beautiful flower.
The second grain said: "I 'm afraid. If I will put down my roots into the ground, I don’t know what they will face there. If I will grow tender stems, they can be damaged by wind. And if there will be flowers , they may be disrupted . So I'd rather wait for the safer time.
The second grain was waiting. While the chicken that passed by pecked it.

Finding A Perfect Women

Nasrudin was talking to a friend, who asked him: 'Have you never considered getting married, Mullah?'
'I have,' replied Nasrudin. 'In my youth, I resolved to find the perfect woman. I crossed the desert and reached Damascus, and I met a lovely, very spiritual woman, but she knew nothing of the world. I continued my journey and went to Isfahan; there I met a woman who
knew both the spiritual and the material world, but she was not pretty. Then I decided to go to Cairo, where I dined in the house of a beautiful woman, who was both religious and a connoisseur of material reality.'
'Why didn't you marry her, then?'
'Alas, my friend, she was looking for the perfect man too.'

The Scratch on a Diamond

The story is told of a king who owned a valuable diamond, one of the rarest and most perfect in the world.

One day the diamond fell and deep scratch marred its face. The king summoned the best diamond experts in the land to correct the blemish, but they all agreed they could not remove the scratch without cutting away a good part of the surface, thus reducing the weight and value of the diamond.

Finally one expert appeared and assured him that he could fix the diamond without reducing its value. His confidence was convincing and the king gave the diamond to the man. In a few days, the artisan returned the diamond to the king, who was amazed to find that the ugly scratch was gone, and in its place a beautiful rose was etched. The former scratch had become the stem of an exquisite flower!

God can turn the "scratches" on our souls into something beautiful.

The Durain Tree Motivational Story

An old man aged over 80 years old. He was planting a durian tree when he was observed by a neighbor. (A durian is a thorny fruit with a very pungent smell. It is known as the King of Fruits and is very popular in South East Asia) The neighbor asked the old man "Do you expect to eat durian from that tree?" The durian tree will take about 8 to 10 years to bear fruit.

The old man rested smilingly on his spade. He said "No, at my age I know I won't. All my life I have been enjoying durians but never from a tree I have planted before. I wouldn't have had durians if other men have not done have not done what I am doing now. I am just trying to pay the other men who planted durians for me." No wonder he is so happy.

We should be GIVERS first and GETTER second in everything we do. We will not only get what we want but will actually be really happy in the end. Because we need to sow first before we can reap.

He Refused To Watch This Bear Drown, So He Went In After It

If a yellow lab was drowning in the ocean, what would you do? I’m betting you jump in and save his life, right? Well what if the victim was a 400lb bear. What do you do then?

Well after a huge black wandered into a Florida community and accidentally walked towards the ocean after being shot with a tranquilizer, a hero stepped up to do the unthinkable, and save one of the most dangerous animals on the planet.

After a report was called in about a wild bear roaming around, it was determined that he be tranquilized and moved back to the forest.

But the dart sent the bear into a panic and he ran towards the ocean, evading officers.

Soon he began swimming out into the Gulf. But the further he went, the more drowsy he became

That’s when Adam Warwick, a biologist with the Wildlife Commission, knew he had to act.

Diving into the ocean, he swam ahead of the bear and blocked his path to the open water.

“It was a spur of the moment decision. I had a lot of adrenaline pumping when I saw the bear in the water.”

Onlookers were shocked as the 400lb bear could have torn him limb from limb normally.

The bear tried lunging at Adam to climb on top of him and stay afloat, but he was losing the ability to move his legs.

Staying calm, the biologist grabbed the bear around the neck and brought him towards the shore.

Everyone held their breath as Adam dragged the nearly-400-pound bear twenty-five yards to land.

and then finally he got land under the groggy bear’s paws.

amazingly, he only suffered one minor cut, and scrapes from barnacles on his feet.

Eventually others came out to help both man and beast with the final few years to shore.

The team was able to use a tractor bucket to transport the poor guy back to his home in Osceola National Forest.

Something tells me he’ll have quite a story to tell his bear friends.

Hopefully they believe him!

Hopefully this bear knows just how lucky he is that a legendary hero like Adam Warwick was around to save his life. I don’t even want to think what would have happened had he not been around. I’m certainly karma will pay Adam back soon. ;)

The Teeth of The Dog

One saint was walking in the meadows with some kids. It was a wonderful, clear day, with all the flowers blooming, and a nice smell on the air. But gradually the kids started to smell something rotten. It might be a dead animal.

As they walked, the smell became stronger and they found out it was a dead dog by the side of the path. One of the kids said, "It's all rotted." Another kid said, "The intestines are all out." Still another kid added, "There are ants coming out of the hollows of his eye."

Then, the saint added, "It had nice white teeth."

The moral is that sometimes we focus on the bad things, when everything seems to be bad. But always, bad things have something good. Our days ALWAYS have the teeth of the dog; something nice to wake up for that we must try to find during our day.

Look for your "teeth of the dog" today!

The Monkey with The Wooden Apple

There once was a happy monkey wandering the jungle, eating delicious fruit when hungry, and resting when tired. One day he came upon a house, where he saw a bowl of the most beautiful apples. He took one in each hand and ran back into the forest. He sniffed the apples and smelled nothing. He tried to eat them, but hurt his teeth. They were made of wood, but they were beautiful, and when the other monkeys saw them, he held onto them even tighter.

He admired his new possessions proudly as he wandered the jungle. They glistened red in the sun, and seemed perfect to him. He became so attached to them, that he didn't even notice his hunger at first. A fruit tree reminded him, but he felt the apples in his hands. He couldn't bear to set them down to reach for the fruit. In fact, he couldn't relax, either, if he was to defend his apples. A proud, but less happy monkey continued to walk along the forest trails.

The apples became heavier, and the poor little monkey thought about leaving them behind. He was tired, hungry, and he couldn't climb trees or collect fruit with his hands full. What if he just let go? Letting go of such valuable things seemed crazy, but what else could he do? He was so tired. Seeing the next fruit tree, and smelling it's fruit was enough. He dropped the wooden apples and reached up for his meal. He was happy again.

Like that little monkey, we sometimes carry things that seem too valuable to let go. A man carries an image of himself as "productive" - carries it like a shiny wooden apple. But in reality, his busyness leaves him tired, and hungry for a better life. Still, letting go seems crazy. Even his worries are sacred apples - they prove he's "doing everything he can." He holds onto them compulsively.

Follow your dreams, so that you will not live with regrets

There were once 2 brothers who lived on the 80th level. On coming home one day, they realized to their dismay that the lifts were not working and that they have to climb the stairs home. After struggling to the 20th level, panting and tired, they decided to abandon their bags and come back for them the next day. They left their bags then and climbed on.

When they have struggled to the 40th level, the younger brother started to grumble and both of them began to quarrel. They continued to climb the flights of steps, quarreling all the way to the 60th floor. They then realized that they have only 20 levels more to climb and decided to stop quarreling and continue climbing in peace. They silently climbed on and reached their home at long last. Each stood calmly before the door and waited for the other to open the door. And they realized that the key was in their bags which was left on the 20th floor

This story is reflecting on our life...many of us live under the expectations of our parents, teachers and friends when young. We seldom get to do the things that we really like and love and are under so much pressure and stress so that by the age of 20, we get tired and decided to dump this load. Being free of the stress and pressure, we work enthusiastically and dream ambitious wishes. But by the time we reach 40 years old, we start to lose our vision and dreams. We began to feel unsatisfied and start to complain and criticize.

We live life as a misery as we are never satisfied. Reaching 60, we realize that we have little left for complaining anymore, and we began to walk the final episode in peace and calmness. We think that there is nothing left to disappoint us, only to realize that we could not rest in peace because we have an unfulfilled dream ...... a dream we abandoned 60 years ago.

So what is your dream? Follow your dreams, so that you will not live with regrets.

#IllRideWithYou

Australians are using the ‪#‎illridewithyou‬ hashtag to offer company to those wearing religious attire who may fear abuse on public transport.
Restoring our faith in humanity ‪#‎Australia‬

The hashtag began when a woman named Rachel posted on Facebook about an interaction she had on the train this morning during her commute.
She says that a woman sitting next to her was "silently removing her hijab" for fear of comments from fellow commuters in relation to the hostage situation unfolding in Sydney this morning.
